WHAT IS  A HARD ENDURO RALLY RACE?

It’s simple!

            Rally Raid means "DAKAR"

            Hard Enduro means trails mountain paths, through rivers, forests and areas with extraordinary landscapes.

            Hard Enduro Rally Race means ‘Territory’ - a complex five-day competition, where competitors have to cross special routes (over 100 km per day) for ATV, quad and UTV and showing their talent to overcome natural obstacles, using GPS systems.

            That event is the ideal solution for riders to meet new areas, to test their limits and those of their vehicles. The security measures provided by the organizers include: GPS tracks, referees, track managers, rescue team sites, check points, tank points,  service & recovery area, media services, etc.

 

PROLOGUE:

 

            Will be a test trial with artificial obstacles, where competitors will start head to head ", in pairs of two. The winner qualifies for the upper level. This competition takes place according to the Competition Schedule. The winners of the prologue will be awarded on three categories. The prologue classification will evidence the starting order for the second day of the competition, according to the competition regulations.

 

OFF-ROAD DAY:

 

            Involves covering a route of 100 km in the mountains areas around Sibiu, with GPS.

            The competitors will meet all types of natural obstacles that will test their technical abilities. The route is going through mountain paths, rivers, alpine lands that are higher than 2000 meters altitude. (Pictures Google Home - Arrival)

            Competitors have check points, service point, refueling points, food, water and energy drink available.  

 

CLASS OF THE COMPETITIONS:

 

            Territory is divided into five classes, depending on the vehicle and the competitive level of pilots:

            The competition classification will be also divided into five classes: ATV PROFI, OPEN ATV, QUAD, UTV (Side by Side), Tourism. (Details on the Contest regulations).

  • PROFI ATV class where those enrolled must have competitions experience, a proper technical equipment and physical practice. 4 X 4 ATV, winch, GPS off-road tires. Drivers must have special off-road Equipment: helmet, enduro boots, boots.
  • ATV OPEN class requires a good physical condition and middle level knowledge of navigation, ATV 4 X 4 , off-road tires, GPS. Drivers must have special off-road Equipment: helmet, protection, Enduro boots, etc.
  • QUAD class requires proper physical condition, knowledge of navigation with GPS, quad with off-road tires. Drivers must have special off-road Equipment: helmet, protection, Enduro boots.
  • Class UTV (Side by Side), the pilot and copilot, with proper off-road equipment: helmet, protection, and one of them to have knowledge of navigation with GPS. Competition vehicle to be equipped with winch, off road tires and GPS.
  • TOURIST class includes all types of vehicles: Enduro motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, Quads for those wishing to cover parts of the competition routes or to attend to this extraordinary event. All those enrolled must know how to use the GPS or if you are part of a group, it’s enough for only one member of the group to know this. (Details by email or phone).
